About Dina Madni, MD, FACS

Dr. Madni is a board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow  of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). She is a valued partner at Surgical Consultants of Dallas and holds privileges at two renowned hospitals in North Texas: Medical City Dallas and TexaHealth Presbyterian Plano. She also practices at state-of-the-art outpatient surgery centers, including Texas Health Surgery Center Preston Plaza.

Her unwavering dedication and exceptional surgical skills have earned her numerous awards, including being named "Best Doctor" by D Magazine for six consecutive years (2019–2025), "Top Doc" by Living Magazine (2019) and FindATopDoc.com (2024), and "Top Surgeon" in Dallas by Women in Medicine (2019). Her extensive general surgery training at UT Southwestern, combined with her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, has honed her skills to excellence. Dr. Madni is recognized as one of the most skilled robotic surgeons in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, specializing in minimally invasive procedures that reduce postoperative pain and shorten hospital stays, benefiting both patients and their families.

Throughout her career, Dr. Madni has combined clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every individual she treats feels informed, supported, and confident in their care. Her areas of expertise include a wide range of general surgical procedures, from routine surgeries to complex operations. She treats conditions such as gallstones, hernias, acid reflux, endocrine disorders (thyroid and parathyroid), and benign or malignant breast and colon diseases.

Committed to excellence in both patient care and surgical innovation, Dr. Madni stays at the forefront of medical advancements and actively engages in continuing education and professional development. Outside the operating room, Dr. Madni loves to travel and spend time with her husband, a dedicated plastic surgeon in Southlake, and their three children. They are active in their community—cheering on their kids at school and sports events—and together they balance busy careers and family life, finding joy in everyday moments and supporting one another, both personally and professionally.
